Review of the Taylormade Burner 2.0 Irons

Like I stated before I have always been a Taylormade guy. I also have been looking to buy a new set of taylormade burner 2.0 irons since I have outgrown my old set. I recently hit the burner 2.0 irons at the pro shop and noticed some major improvements.
The biggest improvement was distance. I usually hit my 7 iron 160 yards. With the new set I was consistently hitting my favorite taylormade burner 2.0 iron set (7) 175-180 yards. The distance also came with little to no effort. With my old set I would have to roll up my sleeves to get the ball out 180 yards. This would also play into my infamous slice when I try swinging out of my shoes.
Not only was I seeing distance improvement in my taylormade burner 2.0 irons 7 iron, but in all my irons. I was hitting the short irons (PW-8) about 10 yards further, and the long irons (7-4) about 15-25 yards further. I could see that this improved distance could have a major impact on my game. My favorite golf course to play is very tight and long. With the improved taylormade burner 2.0 distances I could see myself playing a lot more iron shots (for more control) over playing fairway wood shots (less control).
