4. Leading non-progression raids. This was the #1 thing that made people take me seriously enough to raid lead progression! We had a bunch of "lower tier" guild members who really needed T11 gear during Firelands progression and our conversion from 2 10mans to a 25man team, so I organized T11 clears every weekend on our off-days. Officers/regular raid team members came along, helped out when I didn't know stuff about other roles, and saw me grow as a leader. You can do this for alt raids, or even PuGs - though depending on your server, you may get more or less shit for this (mine is fortunately pretty female-friendly, thank you RP server)

Anyone remember the incident shown in the video above? Man, those were the days. The days of bizarrely overpowered stuff that managed to get through the system. The days of endless kiting -- anyone remember Kazzak visiting Stormwind? How about Devilsaurs being kited from Un'Goro Crater to Orgrimmar? Obviously, these sorts of things had to be nerfed eventually. After all cheap wow gold  , they got in the way of other people's gameplay.
